Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24 is an opportunity provided by the H T Parekh Foundation. This scholarship program offers high-performing students hailing from the marginalized sections of society financial support to cover their fees for pursuing undergraduate-level education (both general and professional graduation courses). In addition to financial assistance, the selected students can benefit from mentorship and career counseling services. The scholarship fund is enough to cover students’ academic-linked expenses, which include hostel fees, tuition fees, books, learning aids, and stationery.
The H T Parekh Foundation was set up in the year 2012. Recognized as the philanthropic arm of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (which has now merged with HDFC Bank), this Foundation was launched to commemorate the major contribution of its Founder Chairman Shri Hasmukh Thakordas Parekh towards the advancement of the nation. The Foundation has partnered with various non-profit entities in India to develop the country in different areas: Environment, Healthcare, Education, and Disability.

Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24: Eligibility Rules
The eligibility criteria for this scholarship program are given herein:
- Students who have completed their Class 12 and are pursuing general graduation courses including BA, BSc, and BCom from recognized colleges in India (for General Graduation Students)
- Students who have scored qualifying marks in the Class 12 exams and are currently admitted in professional graduation programs such as BA LLB, MBBS, BCA, BBA, BTech, Nursing, BArch, or Fashion (for Professional Graduation Students)
- He/she should have secured minimum 70% marks in the previous board exams
- The annual family income of the student must not be more than INR 6 lakhs from all sources per annum
Note:
- Female students and existing Badhte Kadam beneficiaries for the years 2021-22 and 2022-23 will get preference
- Students undergoing hardships or crises such as the loss of one or both parents or a family member diagnosed with a terminal illness will get priority

- For General Graduation Students: INR 30000
- For Professional Graduation Students: INR 100000
Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24: Documents List
The following list of documents is to be submitted:
- 1 candidate’s passport-sized photograph
- Copies of mark sheets of past board exams
- Identity proof, such as PAN card, driving license, voter ID card, or Aadhaar card
- Disability Certificate copy (if applicable)
- Copy of current academic year admission proof, including bonafide certificate, college identity card, admission letter, or fee receipt
- Copy of canceled cheque or first page of passbook of student’s bank account
- Student’s family income proof as received from competent authorities
- Copy of family crisis proof (if applicable)
Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24: Application Procedure
The application process for this scholarship scheme is detailed below:
- Go to the official portal of the Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24
- Register with your Gmail address / mobile number / Email ID and make a note of your “Application ID” and “Password”
- Sign in to your account with your login details, at which point the system directs you to the “Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2023-24” application form page
- Go on to tap the “Start Application” tab and then the system exhibits the online application form
- Provide all the mandatory info in the form and submit the compulsory list of documents
- Subsequently, accept the “Terms & Conditions” and tap the “Preview” tab to review your application and correct any errors
- In the final step, submit your application by tapping the “Submit” tab
