The Ladli Laxmi Yojana is an initiative by the Government of the Madhya Pradesh (MP) state of India to promote the girl child. The first phase of this scheme started on 8th May 2022 and the MP Government has launched the second phase of this scheme, which is called Ladli Laxmi 2.0. To avail this scheme, eligible beneficiaries have to register themselves first. Also, her parents have to enroll their girl child in this scheme during her first year of birth.

Ladli Laxmi Scheme 2.0: Benefits
The various benefits of the Ladli Laxmi Scheme are given herein:
- The Government issues an Assurance Certificate of INR 118000 in the name of the girl child
- A total of INR 30000 will be paid in installments of INR 6000 for 5 consecutive years
- When the girl child takes admission in Class 6, her family will receive financial assistance of INR 2000 via bank transfer
- Upon taking admission in Class 9, the girl child will receive financial help amounting to INR 4000
- An amount of INR 4000 will be paid to the girl’s family when she gets admission in Class XI
- After getting admission in Class XII, the girl child will get INR 6000 via electronic transfer
- Financial assistance of INR 1 lakh will be given to the girl child when she becomes 21 years old
- The girl beneficiaries will get INR 25000 incentive amount in 2 equal instalments after taking admission in Graduate or Professional courses after Class XII; the course duration has to be minimum of 2 years
Ladli Laxmi Scheme 2.0: Mandatory Documents

- Aadhaar Card copy of both her parents
- Her Address Proof
- Valid Family Mobile Number
- Copy of Family Ration Card

Ladli Laxmi Scheme 2.0: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility norms to apply for the MP Government Ladli Laxmi Scheme are as follows:
- Only girl children born or after 1st January 2006 can apply
- Registration of the girl child at the local Anganwadi Center is mandatory
- The girl child beneficiary and her parents have to be permanent residents of the Madhya Pradesh state of India
- She has to remain unmarried until she becomes 18 years
- Families who have adopted an orphaned child can also enjoy the benefits of this scheme
