Candidates have to submit the below-mentioned documents:
- Copy of Caste Certificate to ascertain the caste of the student
- Residential Proof Copy, which could include electricity bill, ration card, PAN Card, driving license, voter ID, or Aadhaar Card
- 1 recent photo of the applicant
- Income Certificate, Birth Certificate, and Domicile Certificate
- Academic Certificates of the previous qualifying exam
- School Admission Letter or School Current Year Fee Receipt Copy

Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC Students Uttar Pradesh 2023-24: Application Process
The application for the scholarship scheme is detailed below:
- You should first go to the home page of the SAKSHAM web portal
- Look for the “Student” tab on the main menu bar of the home page; tap the “Registration” tab from the submenu
- Go on to tap the “Prematric (Fresh)” link displayed under the “For OBC Category (Fresh)” section
- The Online Registration Page then comes up on the screen, at which point you have to enter the required details for the system to create your “Registration ID” and “Password”
- You then have to go to the “Student” tab on the home page; here, tap the “Fresh Login” and subsequent “Prematric Student Login” links seen on the submenu
- Thereafter, the login page is exhibited on the screen, where you have to input your login details
- When done, a list of instructions appears on the screen
- Proceed by reading the guidelines thoroughly, after which you have to select the “Proceed” tab
- Thereafter, the Online Application page comes up on the screen
- Provide all the mandatory details and then go on to tap the “Submit” tab
- Subsequently, you are required to upload the relevant documents in the prescribed format
- Ensure to check if all the information in your scholarship application is correct
- Make any changes and then submit your application online
