UP Scholarship 2024: Registration to begin at scholarship.up.gov.in
The Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) is offering Pre/Post Matric scholarships to students hailing from the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minority Groups, Other Backward Classes, General Categories, and Economically Weaker sections of society. The UP Scholarship program provides financial assistance to eligible students for pursuing higher studies.
As part of the UP Scholarship scheme, Pre-Matric scholarships (for classes 9 and 10) and Post-Matric scholarships (for Class 11 students, Class 12 students, undergraduate students / postgraduate students / PhD students / Diploma students) are included. Over 2 lakh schools and more than 60 universities are covered by the UP Scholarship scheme.
The UP Scholarships will help to increase the literacy state, and propel socio-economic development, in the state.

UP Pre-Matric Scheme: Candidates who are studying in Class 9 or Class 10 can apply for this scholarship program
UP Post-Matric Inter Class 11 and Class 12: This scholarship program is open for students who are studying in Class 11 and Class 12
UP Post-Matric other than Inter: If you are pursuing any postgraduate, undergraduate and PhD courses, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship
UP Post-Matric Outside the State: As a student, if you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh who is pursuing post-matriculation outside the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, you can apply for this scholarship

Uttar Pradesh Scholarships 2024: Eligibility Norms
The eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh Scholarships 2024 are as follows:
- The aspirant has to be a permanent resident of the Uttar Pradesh state of India
- The applicant should be registered in a UGC-recognized College, Institute, or School
- Class 9 and Class 10 students are eligible to apply for Pre Matric Scholarships
- Class 11 and Class 12 students can apply for Post-Matric Scholarships
- Where UP Dashmottar scholarships are concerned, students who are not enrolled in Class 9, 10, 11, and 12 can apply
- In the case of UP Post-Matric scholarships, only candidates whose family income does not exceed Rs 200000 per annum should apply; this rule applies for General category students, Minority Groups, and OBC Classes.
- As far as Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are concerned, applicants whose family income is not over Rs 250000 per annum can apply.

- Copy of Mark Sheet or other educational qualification
- Copy of Income Certificate
- Copy of Caste Certificate
- Copy of Residence Certificate
- Copy of Registration number of the current Board or University
- Copy of Aadhaar Card
- Valid email address and mobile number
- Details of bank account which is linked with Aadhaar card
- A passport-sized photograph
Uttar Pradesh Scholarships 2024: How to Apply Online
Fresh Candidates: Candidates who are admitted in Class 9, 10, 11, and 12 or other Dashmottar courses (like Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Certificate, and Diploma courses) are invited to apply.
Renewal Candidates: Candidates who are enrolled in any school or college and have applied for scholarships in the previous year should apply with their existing Registration Number and Login ID.
